富山妙子 Taeko Tomiyama
1921年神戸市生まれ。少女時代を旧満州、大連とハルビンで過ごす。戦後、炭鉱、第三世界、韓国、戦争責任をテーマに制作。近年の主な展覧会『富山妙子・記憶のコラージュ』（フィラデルフィアインターナショナルハウスとドイツ・ボッフム・ルール大学図書館 USA、Germany 2004年、2005年）、『大地の芸術祭・越後妻有アートトリエンナーレ「富山妙子全仕事展」』（新潟、2009年） 、『禁止されたアート』（nGbK, Germany、2015年）、『富山妙子 終わりの始まり 始まりの終わり』（原爆の図丸木美術館、2016年）。自伝『アジアを抱く 画家人生 夢と記憶』（岩波書店）、画集とDVD『蛭子と傀儡子 旅芸人の物語』（現代企画室）。
Born in 1921, Kobe, Japan. Spends her girlhood in former Manchurian, Dalian and Harbin. After the war, her art works are mainly focused on coal mine, the Third World, Korea and the war responsibility. Main exhibitions in recent years include: Remembrance and Reconciliation, an exhibition of collages at the International House, Philadelphia and Ruhr University Library, Bochm, Germany (2004); Remembrance and Reconciliation, an exhibition of collages at the Northwestern University, Chicago, USA (2005); Embracing Asia: The Complete Works of Tomiyama Taeko 1950-2009 exhibition at Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennial, Japan (2009); BANNED IMAGES at nGbK, Berlin, Germany (2015); Owari no hajimari, hajimari no owari at Maruki Gallery For The Hiroshima Panels, Japan (2016). Published her autobiography, The Dream and Storage Life Painter – Embrace the Asia (Iwanami Shoten); a collection of her works and DVD Hiruko and the Puppeteers: A Tale of Sea Wanderers (Gendai Kikakushitsu)
